A lack of common sense or perhaps an increased level of carelessness is one of the biggest factors that lead to infection by malicious software that was built to try and fool you in order to get through to your data and do harm to your computer and potentially any others that are exposed. Your web browser opens up randomly and your PC is trying to access the internet irregularly and more frequently.

You anti-virus software or security suite indicates that there is indeed an issue in your system.

Here are some possible solutions for fixing or getting rid of a virus if one has made it’s way onto your computer.

You’ll have to realize the fact that your anti-virus program failed to catch the virus, which is perfectly OK, it’s just hat it would have been nice to catch it sooner.

You may want to try a system restore in order to restore you machine back to a point where everything was working properly. If your initial attempt does not work, the you can try using it in Safe Mode using the same steps.

You may try another antivirus software as sort of a second opinion on whether or not your system is in fact infected with a virus.

There are other software programs that you can make use of to be sure that your system is free from viruses and other harmful programs. Once you’re able to identify any issues, hopefully you’ll know what to do with them so you can get on with other issues that may be present on your system.
