Boost Your Computer Performance with RAMBooster
We still have few computers left at our home which are not great anymore as per the performance concern. Few years back we were happy with 64 MB RAM (Random Access Memory), then it came with 128 MB. We still found that as difficult to manage. We are going for more and more speed for our computer. Now-a-days we are using 2 GB double layered RAM. Doubled layer RAM means that there will be an open slot for another RAM of same size can plug-in. So actually in near future we will be able to use 4 GB RAM. Do you think it will stop our journey to hunt for faster computer? Obviously it is NOT.
If you have an old personal computer at home and it don’t show up good performance, there is no reason to throw it out. It still could be use for the work like as you are doing for Associated Content. In order to do job with Associated Content as a content writer you don’t need a computer with very high specifications. You just need Word (Microsoft Word) and Internet browser (IE 6 and up). But if your computer is slow you still might face lot of problems for managing this simple task. Especially if you want to access few website with lots of pictures and decoration and at the same time want to work on Word you might face few problems.
The root cause of all these problems is the size of RAM. RAM is a memory device which is very fast and volatile. The hard disks are not so fast in reading or writing. The obvious question is then why we didn’t go for a huge a RAM for all our storage of our computer? The answer is that in order to make such a big hard disk with the technology of RAM is too much expensive. Now-a-days you can get one 100 GB hard disk in $60 to $80, but a 2 GB RAM costs more than $150. So the RAM is almost 100 times more costly. RAM can be called as processor’s notepad. Processor does all its tasks in RAM and then a separate process takes care the storage of all outputs of processor’s activities. That way we save the processing time.
