Most people will upgrade their hardware before checking if their windows registry for errors. Upgrades of hardware components are costly and it can be very disappointing if you spend a lot of money and encounter the same slow performance of your computer. It is really important to check the other causes of your computers slow performance before you proceed to upgrade it.

You must check your computer for viruses, malware or spyware that is causing the slowdown in your computers performance. Once you have done this then check the registry. If there are no viruses in your system, then you may check if your hard drive is low on free space. Check all the files or programs that are no longer in use. You may have to remove them to free up your disk space.

Now, if you are still experiencing a slowdown in your computers performance and if you are receiving random error messages, then you really have to check your computers registry. It is not advisable that you clean your windows registry manually. It is very complex and any wrong move will even make your computer useless.

The best solution is to download a registry scanner or cleaner. In this way correcting problems in your registry will easy and you can do it in a few mouse clicks and fix slow computer start up problems right away.
