postheadericon Is Your Computer Too Slow?

Is your computer too slow? One thing about computers is that they tend to slow down after a few years of use. This could happen to anyone and any brand of personal computer. This is just normal don’t get mad at your PC and throw it away just yet. You can still do something about it and the good news is you only need a few steps to speed up your computer.

One reason why most computers slow down is because of all the files and out of date programs. To clear up some space you need to uninstall all software or programs that you no longer use. You can do this by clicking on start, choose control panel and then click on add and remove programs. Select all the programs that are no longer useful and remove them all.

After clearing all unnecessary programs the next thing to delete are your old files, videos, music and photos. To do this, click on my documents, browse through your docs and select everything that you do not need anymore. However be careful in deleting some documents, make sure you check them all before deleting. You might need some of the files in the future. After ridding yourself from all the needless documents, browse your photos, music and videos.

Scrub out everything that does not mean anything to you anymore. Delete videos you’ve already watched, songs you no longer want to listen to and pictures you do not want to see again anymore. You will be surprised on how much space it will give you.

Scan your Windows registry and fix it if necessary. If you are not familiar with the windows registry it is like a database of all the things you had created, and installed on your computer on a daily basis. Eventually errors in the registry will cause broken file extensions, missing files and worse, you may have viruses hidden away in there. When this happens, it might cause your PC to slow down, shut down, freeze, and all the other usual problems in a computer your computer will be too slow.

What you can do to solve this issue is to scan your PC using a trusted and reliable registry scanner. Just be sure to download a good one since some programs can also damage your computer. After doing all these things you can now see and feel the difference. You can now enjoy again your computer again and stop wondering if it is going to freeze on you.
