You can try the following steps:

1 Delete temporary files:

Click Start-> Run Type cleanmgr and press Enter Make sure that C drive is selected and click Ok.

2 Disable Theme

Click Start-> Run Type sysdm.cpl and press Enter. The System Properties windows should open Click on Advanced tab Under Performance, click on Settings Click Adjust for best performance Click Apply and Ok

The above settings should make your system a little faster than it is now. If it does not help, try the following:

3 Minimize the number of programs that starts automatically when windows starts (disabling most of this program will not effect your computer’s day to day operations)

Click Start-> Run Type msconfig and press Enter

The System Configuration utility should open Click on Startup tab

Now you will see a list of programs that start automatically when windows starts. You can disable a program by unchecking the checkbox beside it

When done, click Apply and Ok Restart your computer. A dialog box will appear. Click on the checkbox at the bottom of it and click Ok

This should make your system a little faster. You can also click on Disable All under Startup tab to disable all startup programs, restart your computer. Now try to enable one program at a time to identify the program which is making your system slow.

4 And finally, if above steps fails to speed up your system, then you can add more RAM which should increase the speed of the computer.

I hope this will help.

Thanks
