Laptop running slow

I am currently running a Toshiba Satellite 1800 laptop and it has started to run very very slowly. I have run spybot S&D, ad-aware SE, AVG antivirus and AVG antispyware. I have deleted a lot of low use programs from my hard drive and defragmented the hard drive. I don’t know what else to do. [...]
