Repair Your Slow Computer By Doing A System Restore If you are experiencing a very slow PC and suspect that it could be a virus, spyware or malware installed on your CPU try doing a system restore. A system restore is a function on your PC that allows you to go back to a point in time before you have accidently installed a virus, spyware or malware on your CPU. This function is very handy.
To successfully do a system restore, go to your task bar (on the bottom of your screen) and click on Windows button. Once open, click on All Programs to bring up a long list of programs. Find Accessories and open the file. You should see a file called System Tools near the end. Open this file and click on System Restore.
Once opened, you will be prompted with a different dates where you can restore your system. Choose the date which you believe that your CPU did not contract the virus, spyware or malware and restore your system.
But what if viruses, spyware or malware is not the cause of your slow PC?
Viruses, spyware or malware can cause your computer to run slowly, but the most common reason why your computer is running slow is because of a damaged windows registry. So if you want to speed up your computer and restore it back to its original out of box state, you will need to repair your windows registry.
Speed Up Your Computer By Fixing The Windows Registry With Registry Cleaners If viruses, spyware or malware is not the cause of your slow CPU, then your PC may be suffering from a damaged windows registry. Unless you are an expert and can fix the complex windows registry yourself, it is highly recommended to use registry cleaners.
