postheadericon New laptop too slow? optimize it for free

With laptops becoming affordable more people are purchasing these low priced gems for their homes. But once they get their new jewel home they are often frustrated with its performance. Then the obligatory call to tech support is made by an angry consumer trying to figure out why there new laptop is slower than the Pentium “m” that it replaced.

Manufactures dirty little secret is that they load up these notebooks with trial software “bloatware” in hope that the customers will pay for it when trial is over and unfortunately the software usually affects the computer’s performance. What is funny is that this marketing tactics does not work usually, – tech support tells them how optimize or they find out on their own how to get rid of the bloatware – this is especially a factor when it comes to sub $500 (affordable) notebooks.
