How to Make Windows Start Up Faster
I don’t know about you, but I love spending the first 10 minutes of every workday watching Windows start up. It’s like a Zen thing. If you’d rather get right to work, though, the following tips should help you make Windows start much more quickly.
Lighten the Load
A typical PC loads a lot of programs every time it starts. Each of the icons in your system tray (the area near your clock) represents an auto-start application. And there are probably other programs on your machine that start automatically but don’t make their presence known so easily. Each autoloading app slows your boot time–a little or a lot. And because most of them continue to run in the background, they rob you of a little performance.
Before you start eliminating autoloaders, though, make sure you can undo your changes. In Windows XP, Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore. Select Create a restore point, click Next, call your restore point something like before removing autoloaders, and choose Create. Click Close once you’ve created the restore point.

Uniblue Software Utilities
Uniblue software (formerly Liutilities) has the software to help you take care of all of the megabytes and gigabytes you have accumulated on your hard drive. Whether you want to see what the bytes are doing behind the scenes, clean your files, or just make the gigabytes move faster. Uniblue has the program for you. The programs not only work exceptionally well, they are extremely safe and easy to use.
RegistryBooster 2010 – It doesn’t matter how fast your computer is, if you are running any version of Microsoft Windows you have a registry that gets loaded up with many unused registry keys. Every time you give your computer instructions, it has to sort through all of registry keys to execute the command. In time, the registry fills up with so much garbage that your computer starts running noticeably slower and will start crashing more frequently.

It’s about what I expected; rough parity with the performance of Windows XP. Vista’s a bit slower in some areas, and a bit faster in others. But shouldn’t new operating systems perform better than old ones? There are plenty of low-level improvements under the hood. Why does Vista only break even in performance?

Steps to Make Your PC Run Extremely Fast
If you want to make your PC run faster, you’ll be pleased to hear there are several easy ways to do it. Many computer technicians just do a selection of very simple things to make your PC run faster and if you follow the following 3 steps, you’ll be able to make your system run extremely quickly in just a few minutes:
1) Close Unneeded Programs – Many people will tell you to “uninstall” unwanted programs but this won’t fix your PC very quickly. In order to get your PC to speed up right now, you need to close the programs you are not using, so your system can focus on one thing and do it quickly. To close down your unwanted programs, you should press CTRL + ALT + DELETE on your keyboard (and select “Task Manager” if you’re using Vista or Win7). This will load up the “task manager” which controls all your programs. From here, you should click on “Processes” and then look at the list of programs that are on your PC. The best thing to do is to click on the “Physical Memory” column to sort the programs by their memory size and then stop the ones which are taking up too much memory.
