Are your computers running at their full potentials and with few crashes? If not, they may be dirty.
It can be hard to imagine that a dirty computer can run slow or even cause it to crash or lock up. It is true though, dirt can cause many problems with computers. Not only dirt and dust, but bacteria and germs can cause problems in the work environment as well. Our company is a full service Computer Cleaning Consultant, focused on making your environment cleaner, easier to work in and with less down time. Find out how your company can loose money on slow and dirty computers on our Facts, Data and Industry News page.
So tell me, How does dirt and dust effect my computer performance? Dust is like an insulator, it keeps all the heat from escaping. It is like putting a coat on your computer in the middle of summer. Heat can cause many problems with a computer. Heat will make the computer run slower, even crash or hang up. Heat has been know to cause most small glitches in computers. There are fans in your computer for a purpose. But when dust gets caked on the inside of your computer, the fans are better off turned off.
Dirt and dust can be found every where in a work station. Dirt can cause your mouse to stick, your keyboard keys to stick and your phone keys to stick. Dirt and grime gets caught up on your monitor as well. The strong electromagnetic energy of your computer circuits and chip acts like a magnet, attracting the dust to it. That is why it needs to be cleaned on a regular basis.
Bacteria and germs are the next biggest problem facing every office. Germs can be passed from user to the next via the keyboard or mouse. Whole offices will pass around the sickness for weeks. Regular cleaning of the mouse and keyboard will prevent office wide sicknesses or more commonly known as S.O.S (Sick Office Syndrome). Find out how dirty your keyboards, mice and phones are on our Facts, Data and Industry News page.
Monitors can also be effected by dirt. Just like a computer, a monitor is made with air circulating vents to keep the inside cool. Because, just like the computer, heat effects monitors as well. With the introduction of flat screens and flat panels monitors, cleaning the display becomes difficult. You can’t use certain solvents or water on some of the newer monitors. We have the right solutions for all monitors.
What will we do? Our company will come in after hours and clean each workstation. That includes, the monitor, mouse, keyboard, phone, printer, fax, computer inside and out, table top dust and ground dust. Find out exactly what we clean and why on our What our service will do and why page.
