What to Do When Computer Becomes Slow?
Slow computers are usually not dealt correctly by most of the users and hence they end up in damaging their systems permanently. It is highly suggested for the people to figure out the cause for which their computer has become slow. Most users complain: “my computer is slow and I cannot figure out how to make it fast”. There are many reasons for which a computer can become slow. It can be due to the presence of a virus which eats up most of the memory of the computer and does not allow other applications to use the memory to complete their tasks. It can also be because of insufficient amount of space in the hard disk of the computer, because of which the computer becomes short of virtual memory and hence it becomes slow.
But the most common reason because of which the computer becomes slow is due to a corrupt window registry. The registry is said to contain all the keys related to all the applications installed in the system. On deleting a particular application, the keys related to that application also gets deleted from the registry. But sometimes, due to an error in the system these keys still remain in the registry even if the application is deleted from the system. As a result of this, the memory allocated to the system does not get freed and hence other applications are not able to utilize it for their tasks. Hence the performance of the system goes down and the computer becomes slow.
To remove this anomaly, users are suggested to buy and install a registry cleaner tool. Registry cleaner tools can be easily ordered from online stores. A person must read the review about the type of registry cleaner tool he is going to buy. After the tool has been installed into the system, the user must scan the registry of the computer using the registry cleaner tool. The registry cleaner tool finds all unwanted and corrupt registry keys and it either deletes them or repairs them according to the user’s wish. After the cleaning process, the performance of the system surely goes up and the system becomes fast.
